Corporate Lodging Consultants Launches Program To Save Small Businesses 30 Percent To 50 Percent On Lodging
(Wichita, KS) - Corporate Lodging Consultants Inc. (CLC), the largest lodging management services provider in North America, has launched a special travel program designed to save small business owners and employees 30 percent to 50 percent every time they spend the night in a hotel. The program, CheckINN Direct, means small businesses can get the same savings on lodging as some of the largest companies in the United States that also work with CLC.
"We negotiate rates for more than seven million hotel rooms every year," said Kyle Rogg, CLC's senior vice president for business development. "Because we offer hotels a high volume of business, they're willing to provide us rates that are lower than a single business can negotiate on its own. Through CheckINN Direct, we're able to pass those savings on to small businesses all over North America."
Any small business wishing to save money on lodging is eligible to enroll in the program by logging on to www.checkinncard.com. There they will find a list of more than 5,000 hotels that are part of CLC's low rate network. After signing up and securing their account with a credit card, participating businesses will receive a special CLC CheckINN Card that they can use when booking and paying for their hotel room. The transaction will then be charged to the credit card by CLC.
Every time a room night is purchased, a nominal fee of $4.95 is added by CLC - still resulting in savings that can average $15 to $40 a night over traditional hotel rates.
"The CLC CheckINN Direct program really does work all over the country," Rogg said. "For example, we recently checked rates for a stay at a hotel near the Dallas Convention Center. The best 'outside' rate we could find was $67 a night. The rate for our customers was $25 a night."
CLC clients typically experience savings on their lodging program through a combination of lower hotel rates, rate increase management, automated electronic hotel billing and audit and lower lodging taxes. This unique program is available now.
