Where to eat on Thanksgiving 2021

Are you spending this Thanksgiving on the road? There are still plenty of restaurants to enjoy a meal at on the holiday. We’ve collected a list of our favorites.

Make sure to check the hours of the specific location you want to visit before going. Some locations may be affected by local COVID-19 mandates.

Applebee’s

Applebee’s is open on Thanksgiving this year. Travelers can get their usual favorites, and those who are 21+ have the option to enjoy other holiday specials

Bob Evans

Travelers can get a special holiday meal at Bob Evans all day on Thanksgiving that includes turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing. The meal is available for dine-in, delivery, or curbside pickup. The restaurant will also serve a special breakfast menu and its usual breakfast favorites.

Boston Market

Boston Market will have a variety of Thanksgiving options for travelers, including chilled meals for pickup, individual chilled entrees and sides, and dine in.

Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel will be open during its regular hours on Thanksgiving. Travelers can get a traditional “Turkey N’ Dressing'' Thanksgiving meal beginning at 11 a.m., and have the option to join the Online Wait List to shorten their wait time.

Golden Corral

Most Golden Corral locations have reopened since the beginning of the pandemic, and currently have a “Holiday Feast” available Mondays - Saturdays after 4 p.m., and Sundays after 11 a.m. Diners can also pick up a holiday meal to-go for a limited time.

IHOP

In the mood for some Thanksgiving pancakes? IHOP will be open on Thanksgiving, and travelers can order from a seasonal menu that includes pumpkin spice pancakes. 

Macaroni Grill

Celebrate Thanksgiving at Macaroni Grill with the option to order from a traditional three-course Thanksgiving menu or the restaurant’s regular menu. The three-course Thanksgiving menu includes roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, and three dessert options.

Starbucks

Just need a quick pick-me-up? Starbucks will be open on Thanksgiving day in select locations. Make sure to check the location’s hours before stopping in.

Subway

Enjoy your turkey in sandwich form this year. Subway will open on Thanksgiving this year, so travelers can pick up a sub during their trip.
